Adorable dogs! So sorry you had to experience such bigotry and hateful behavior. We experienced that same treatment when we attempted to move to my Southern Oklahoma small town 14 years ago. We very soon realized we were viewed as "Less than" in every way. We lasted about 7 months there before we fled the state.
