As a gay man, I hear the echo of the footsteps of fascism all around me today. I struggle with the concept of fleeing before it is too late. Preachers go unchallenged in the pulpit as they call for my execution as a gay person. Far right extremism actively calls for my extermination. I am sad to see history repeating itself.
