Being a "double hippie" myself, I could relate to your experience here. I did mine six months apart, after having waited FAR too long to get them replaced. I'm now three years past the last one, and it is still miraculous to me that I regained my mobility and can walk without a cane or without terrible pain. Thank goodness for such a modern, great solution!
