Having recently faced some serious health issues, I also took a "MEDIUM" vacation. And, with the same results you experienced, just on a smaller scale, as I have not been on for long OR produced the writing library that you have. But, my earnings, stats, etc all dropped. I finally determined that I didn't care, and harked back to why I write here. I read here to learn about others, and I write here to learn about me. So, it's ok to take a break. We just keep learning when we return.
