I also collect old postcards. The ones I collect have the thin metal attachments on the card. I have cards with a buffalo, an ostrich, a turkey, a rifle, you name it. Really an interesting practice from the early 1900's to attach these little figures onto a postcard. You could buy them at the 5 and dime stores.
