I enjoy following your writing, and this piece illustrates why! I had the same internal struggle when as adults my daughters shared with me the struggles they had as Asian children in the school system they attended. I had no idea the level of bullying and torment they endured. I also felt terrible that this had gone on under my nose and I was unaware. I struggle with that still.
