I picked my husband up for lunch one day when we lived in Southern Oklahoma. The look on his face told me we either leave, or he would be dead or gone. After lunch we both quit our jobs and we were in Iowa the following day. A red state, yes but we were able to immediately get legally married. I went home and packed and he got a job and looked for a place for us. A move that cost us a LOT but we never regretted! I wish you guys peace and happiness in your move!!!! Ours was 12 years ago.
