I work at a large Funeral Home. I can tell you that NOT having the conversation and putting last wishes down in writing somewhere is a huge burden on remaining family. When someone dies there are at least 80 decisions that must be made on that very day to get funeral plans underway, even if it is to be simply cremation. HAVE THAT CONVERSATION. You'll always be glad you did. And, more importantly, get your own wishes in place.
