No winners in this story. Sad that a child, (now young adult) is torn between two families. Family negotiated law should rule here, in my opinion. If everyone sat down with legal help, a solution other than imprisonment might be worked out. But, not solving the problem. Only musing. Thanks for the stark look at a true story.
