This seems to be a common family failing. My own mother couldn't get along with anyone in her family and consequently none of us as siblings have had easy relationships. We watched my mom with all of her family discord and took on that same learned behavior. FINALLY we all seem to have grown away from the grudges and bitter attitudes.
