Twelve years ago we bought a Civil War era home in Iowa, built in 1865. We soon realized we were not alone, as we had an active "stair walker" on several occasions. Over the past years there have been times when activity was very active, and then periods of nothing. But, we have never been frightened or upset or worried about our "co-habitants". We both work in the Death Care industry, and frankly I take comfort in knowing we stick around a bit past our death.
