Your essay really spoke to me as well. My husband and I have spent decades curating a "collection of collections" and we often wonder how they will end up, as our three children do not seem interested in any of the things we treasure. I am going to make more of an effort to connect the stories, as well as make the book of the most important "things" and why they mattered. What a great idea.
